Who has got the grit and determination to be the victor?

BOA Hill Climb

Last year we had a bumper of an event and we were thrilled with the response from everyone who took part and supported the event. For 2019 our aim is to grow the event yet again and for it to remain as a ‘must attend’ event for miles around.

In 2018 we saw the Hill Climb set new highs, with a record number of entrants from all age groups gearing up to give it a go. We had a new record set for the Hill Climb of 53.44 seconds by Andrew Feather, who went on to be the National Hill Climb Champion.

This year we hope to see more people take part and challenge themselves on the hill climb. So why not encourage your friends and family to take part or come and cheer you on.

This is certainly not an event to be underestimated, some have said that looks easy but when they have given it ago they are surprised how challenging it is.

The ‘Mini’ Hill climb is open for all our younger riders (under 14), a quick 200m dash from the Swan pub to the corner of Masons lane.  There will be prizes for all our younger riders.

The Full Hill climb Starts at the Swan Pub and continues around the bend up to the Castle pub, where you will be greeted with a rapturous round of applause and a pint of  Hill Climb ale for your efforts!

Join us for a drink at the Castle at the top of the hill after the race.
